Mataha Druii

The Sun is bright but speaks only to the Leaves.

The Moon is mysterious but speaks only to the Roots.

The Moray Eel is shy quick and deadly but speaks only to the Soul.

The Mataha Druid is Old and perhaps even wise.
Shy like the Moray, has heard the songs of Sun and Moon.

Knows the depths of Sky and Sea and carries the feather of Summerland's way.

Yet He or She teaches few, for rare are those that would fair pay.
And our Ley is old our way even older, our woods dark and deep.

Yet the path without a sign was never free nor shall it ever be.

Bells on the Ley

I walk alone the darken Ley

Bells gently ringing my sacred Way.

Just me Stars and Silver Moon.

Both Candles and Lover to whom I Swoon.

Come Morning to most it is just a Road.

Yet to Druid it is part of our ancient Code.

Scars we left so deep in the Dragon's Land.

From our times before that of modern Man.

When Druid and Fae broke the Ice to free the Way.

Little did we see the Hell that Earth would become Today.

With great Power we burned through the Frozen Rock and Clay

But with love of Earth that Man has lost in centuries of Moral Decay.

And now most Druii are gone with First Forest and all Fae.

For those Druid left we are but Shadow Ghost of lost Yesterday.

Still each morn we call the Sun and it comes again.

Till last when we are none and Darkest Evil will have Won.

Autumn's Cool

Ah

Autumn's Cool has finally come to our Ley

Winter Queen sings softly as she begins to hold sway.

Yet for me much work lies ahead with each cool day.

The Veil thins yet on practical I must focus and stay the way

While the Old oness come and whisper memories of long ago yesterday.

Moon Rising in the Fog.

The Druid

Like the Oak we change the land .

Roots deep that never sleep.

Making Soil where there was sand.

Body reaching for the Stars.

Till Lighting or Age bring us down.

Yet from root or Acorn we do another round.

Squirrel Bird and even Man.

They come and go like shadows across the land.

Yet Sun - Moon - Rain and Snow.

These better than most we understand.

And We, the Fae - with the Gods, will be back.

Sans Glamour  -  to reclaim our Land.

Ritual of Essence and Ashes

I am not sure why I am sharing this Ritual with you tonight.

As one grows elder the flows of Summerland grow faster for some of us.

This is a Ritual of remembrance and connectivity. It can be used anywhere True Friends gather for any special occasion.

What you need:

1) A clay or metal bowl, a iron cauldron works well. That can handle a small fire.

2) A group of small small clean dry twigs that will burn well and basket or container to hold them. Have one for each person attending including your self. Four nice ones a little less than half the diameter of the bow, these are the Cardinal Points or Watch Tower Guardians. And one for you the host.

3) Also some small twigs broke up as Fire Tender. A few pieces of paper, one for every one there with there name on it. And a large piece with what or why the occasion is happening, the date and where.

4) Of course matches to start a fire.

5) Small wood or metal spoon

6) Small jars bottles, one for each person there.

The Start:

As Host pick a nice or if possible Nemeton location for fire bowl.

The Ritual will be in two parts.

Part one: as soon as all guest have arrived and before main occasion event.

Gather all guest arount the fire bowl. As you talk about friends, good times and good memories add (in this order the event paper, names papers. I like to read the names as I add them to bowl. Then the small twigs as tender. Have every one take a twig from the basket. Put the four Cardinal twigs in and address watch tower guardians as you do.

Set bowl to fire and take your own twig, kiss it, in old we did blood but few follow those ways.

Add it to the fire and have each person do the same.

Have the event or party or what even.

Just before things are ready to break up bring all guest back to fire bowl now burned down to ash.

Give each a small jar or bottle. Take your own and spoon it a bit of ash and close it. Let each guest do the same (if they wish). Do not have bottles labeled, let each that keeps theirs do it as they wish.

With everone is spooning the ash, it is a good time to thank them for coming, being good friends and staying in your heart and mind for ever along with what event was about.

Well that is it what or how you all use the ash is up to you.

Witches Mirror Return Spell

Mirror Mirror on the wall

A Curse to those that refuse to heed my call

By the Candle and the Bell

With secret herbs from the Dell

In the Cauldron I cast my will

Brew the potion that could kill

Just a drop on hair or nail

Will bring you back

Or to Hell you sail

For I am the Prism Witch

Both Light and Dark

Born first of old before the Ark

And now I live again

Ride the Magick of the Wind

Crossing me is Mortal Sin

In the end

I always Win

Witches Mirror Curse

Mirror Mirror on the wall

Who is the Witchyist of them all

Say its me

Make it be

Revel the future

As I will to see

By spiders webs

And dust of dawn

I brew my magick extra strong

So my Curse I let you flee

Where it lands you do not want to be

The Druid's Root written in faded brown ink of tannin gall.

The Oak weeps with the Willow

For the Withered  Root of the Druid's

Now just a Dandelion

In today's grass that is unkind

A pretty flower weed to most

Not the Mighty Oaks of our ancient boost.

Tar and Assfault cover the Ley

Concrete crumples were once the Fae did play.

Earplugs and Ipod help keep Nature away.

The only Magick we have is on the Blue-Ray

Tears of Druidia turn Crystal in our Adders Lay

Yet some Stones still stand as we to once did tall in Far Yesterday.

Beltane and Lady Rosemary

Good Morning Lady Rosemary, how does your garden grow?

Strong my Lord Druid, with Dark Green needles full of spice.

Just waiting for you to taste and know.

And sprinkle a few dry ones in the Beltane incense so strong "A-Maying you may go..

Twas our lover's secret lost so long long ago.

Now kiss me quick and let me grow.

The Dedicant

Who / What do you Remember ?

Who / What do you Seek ?

Who / What do you Honor ?

Who / What do you Serve ?

Who / What do you Live for ?

Who / What will you Kill for ?

Who / What will you Die for ?

Who / What are You ?

Who / What would you Reincarnate for ?

WHY ?

No mater what Titles Robes and Chains we wear or claim. A True Druid never stops being a Dedicant to Oak and Ley. And with each spoke's turn we should re-ask and  answer the Dedicant's hard questions.

Oh My Dear Lady Jane,

Love Of Youth,

Kiss of the Moon

.Where have you gone

.Like Spring and Summer past.

Now in Winter cold and long

.Yet the memory of kiss to your sweet buds.

Still warms a Cold Heart on night's long watch

.Oh Lady Jane where do you sleep tonight.

Both Bard and Branch.

With the Wind

Do their Dance

The other Leaves

Showing what can not be seen

Yet they know

What is in between

Dark Spell

Mirror Mirror on the wall.
Who has the darkest spell of them all?

May it be.
Say it me.

For I have a power.
Deeper than the sea.

No  dark storm ever.
Compared to the likes of me.

So cross me not.
Lest you see.

What a Druid's Dark Spell.
Can really be.

The Click

Night is dark dressed deep in Black.

Death smells so strong, no creature dare make a Peep.

And then the Click, spoons Away.

Now a thud before the Flash.

Hell Roars and pain drives mind Insane.

Quickly Life too drains Away.

Chips and Dips

Oh of Ax and Stone

And Urge to Hone

Things that Bard and Druid must put away

And leave to Youth or Yesterday

As we share how we see Nature's way

Stony hills and stony minds make little hay

Yet to them we send the Goats anyway.

Love is a Living Altar that never Dies even when the body does.

I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying, You found it hard to sleep.
I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear,
"It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."

I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea,
You were thinking of the many times, your hands reached down to me.
I was with you at the shops today, Your arms were getting sore.
I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.

I was with you at my grave today, You tend it with such care.
I want to re-assure you, that I'm not lying there.
I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key.
I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said " it's me."

You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair.
I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there.
It's possible for me, to be so near you everyday.
To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."
You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew...
In the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.

The day is over... I smile and watch you yawning
and say "good-night, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."
And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,
I'll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side.
I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see.

Be patient, live your journey out...then come home to be with me.
